We hope that Saturday 11th June is sunny and the people of Longridge will join us in watching the parade and visit the activities on the field. The bunting is now up and plans are in place for what we hope will be the biggest and best activities on the field for quite a few number of years. We have plans for a scarecrow competition, car boot costing £10 per table, laser clay pigeon shooting, penalty shoot out, and birds of prey display. This is on top of our usual events of displays in the centre of the field, tug of war competition, fun fair, junior 5-a-side football, Punch and Judy, classic and vintage cars, gym club, dancing display, Brigade band, and raffle.

The people of Longridge will hopefully have noticed a better quality Field Day booklet. Also people will have noticed a new envelope delivered with the booklet. Our costs are £6500 to run field Day and parade. We are asking everyone to give a small donation to help us run the event. Drop off points for the envelopes are Anjis Emporium, Booths, Bonds fuel station, Nisa, and Sainsbury's.
